for Luise, beuatiful girl from France

Dark Icon from Ukraine

this is Dark Icon from my hometown in far away Ukraine...that tiny Cross
my mom gave me as a gift - Spasi i Sohrini! - written on the Cross -
Save & Preserve!- and even in a digital form it somehow beams
a human warmness and kindness of that land - land of
Black and Azov seas, land of endless steeps, sky full of thousands miles clouds,
land of Kozak Freedom and Thoughts of great stranger, philosopher and poet
Gregory Skovoroda..."The world was chasing me, but never caught" -
and I do like these Gregory's words, spirit of Free Ukraine in them!
